Introduction
Adding a new miner for sale in your MeasureX shop is simple and fully integrated with your admin environment. Products added in your Inventory are instantly visible to your customers in their dashboard shop, and each purchase automatically generates a contract using the information you provide during product creation.
This article explains how to add a product, field by field, and highlights the critical details you must get right.
1. Where to Add a Product
You can add a product in two ways — both lead to the exact same creation form:
Option A: Through the Inventory Page
- Open Inventory in the left admin sidebar.
- Click Add Product (top-right corner).
The product creation pop-up will appear.
Option B: Directly via the Add Product Button
- Click Add Product in the left sidebar.
Both methods open the same pop-up, and both are valid.
2. What the Inventory Page Contains
The Inventory section displays all products currently available in your shop, including their prices, statuses, and availability.
Once you add a product, it instantly appears here.
3. Product Creation: Field-by-Field Explanation
When you click Add Product, a pop-up opens with all required fields:
A. Product Image
- Choose a high-quality, clean image of the miner.
- A white background is recommended, feel free to add a background as long as the resolution is quite high.
- This image will appear in your shop, within your users’ dashboard.
- If you need help with product visuals, MeasureX can assist.
B. Manufacturer
Select the miner’s manufacturer (e.g., Bitmain, MicroBT).
This filters the available models.
C. Miner Model
Select the exact model and its correct nominal hashrate.
Choosing the wrong model will lead to incorrect power and consumption calculations and will appear incorrectly on the contract automatically generated at checkout.
D. Balance (Optional Requirement)
This is the minimum balance the customer must have after purchase.
Typical use case:
- You want the buyer to maintain enough balance to cover the first days/weeks of electricity.
Example:
- Required Balance: 100 €
E. Deposit
A deposit is a security amount added during checkout.
This can cover hosting risks or guarantee commitment.
Example:
- Deposit: 200 €
Balance and Deposit are both optional, but many hosting providers use them as operational safety tools.
F. Selling Net Price
This is the machine price (hardware and/or shipping).
Example:
- Selling Net Price: 5,000 €
This price appears in the shop and on the auto-generated contract.
G. Net Kilowatt Selling Price
This is the electricity price per kWh that will be applied once the miner is hosted.
Important:
- This value is part of the auto-generated contract.
- The customer will see it before purchasing.
- All electricity calculations depend on this number.
H. Location
Select where the miner will be hosted.
Only locations already implemented in your admin environment will appear.
I. Condition
Choose one of the two options:
-
Brand New
-
Used
This information appears in the shop and on the contract.
J. Order Type
Choose how the product is delivered:
-
Preorder (inventory coming soon)
-
Available immediately (in stock)
4. Final Step: Add the Product
Once all fields are complete:
- Click Add Product.
- The product will instantly appear:
- In your Inventory, with all details
- In the customer shop, visible and purchasable
- When a customer buys the product, MeasureX will:
- Generate an automatic contract under your terms and conditions.
- Apply the fields you entered (model, price, kWh price, condition, etc.)
No additional setup is required.
Conclusion
Adding products is quick and fully automated. Once a product is added, it becomes immediately available to customers and triggers a full contract generation workflow at purchase.
